[EMERGENCY] [ANTHEM] [Tooru & Tia] Quarantine Live Commentary Thread – Part 2 [Live Commentary Here]

845 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

I commented on Anthem’s livestream and got scolded. What’s going on?

846 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Go read the thread template.

847 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Still, Ii-chan’s movement speed is insane.
So this is what A-rank explorers are like.
For moving around a city, they’re probably faster than any vehicle in the world.

848 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

It’s considerate that they don’t do that except in emergencies.
If they moved like that all the time, civilians would be in serious danger.

849 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Looks like locals are providing info in the stream comments.
Thanks to all the attention lately, local explorers happened to be watching the stream too.

850 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Given Anthem’s popularity, there’d be local explorers no matter which prefecture it was.
Viewer count was around 80,000 during the break—now it’s already 260,000.

851 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Any info on Tooru-bro’s group heading to the Sugai Dungeon?

852 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

None.
Apparently it’s a rundown D-rank dungeon.
No one even bothers exploring it.

853 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Doesn’t that mean the dungeon office staff are screwed?

854 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Probably too late already.
Still, if Tooru-bro’s crew made it there, they should be able to deal with it before it reaches the city.
No idea about Tooru-bro himself, but Tia-chan is stronger than Megumi’s group.

855 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

It’s huge!
This is bad!
What the hell is that!?

856 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

The one with the body cam is Irselia, right?
From a building rooftop… that size is—

857 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

The surrounding area’s blacked out.
That hydra is slamming its snake heads into the ground—what’s it doing?

858 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

It’s a monster—of course it’s wrecking stuff.
Looks like it just woke up and is instinctively destroying everything nearby.
If that thing really starts moving in earnest, S City is beyond screwed.

859 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Ii-chan is so cool!
As expected of an S-rank Explorer.
Megumi’s the leader of Anthem, but in situations like this, it’s gotta be Ii-chan.
So reliable.

860 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Yeah, but the ones actually charging in are Chizuru and Megumi.

861 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Miming Vrede, here it comes!! (・∀・)

862 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

That was made using S-rank materials and crafted in the elf nation in Atlantis, right?
The dragon scale Tooru-bro got as a rare drop probably can’t be processed by normal means either.

863 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

For ultra-rare stuff like that, if you don’t have personal connections, the Dungeon Agency buys it, pays to have it processed, and then gives the finished gear to the explorer, right?
I heard one reason it never hits the market is to keep it from going overseas.
Is there a tiny chance Tooru-bro might get dragon-scale equipment?

864 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Whoa—so bright!

865 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

The string and arrows are made entirely of mana, after all.
That thing’s basically a mana launcher shaped like a bow.

866 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

But for elves, the fact that it’s shaped like a bow is probably what matters, right?
Even high-rank explorers sometimes fight with obviously weird styles.

867 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

It’s a shame this is from Irselia’s body cam.
…Or maybe that makes it rare footage?

868 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

She fired!
Is it dead!?

869 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

>868 Don’t raise flags!

870 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Still, that looked like a diversion to draw its attention—and a test of its durability.
The middle snake head got blown apart, but it regenerated immediately.
Figures—you really do have to cut off all three at once.
Looks like Chii-chan and Megu-tan are going in.

871 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Watching their usual streams, you kinda forget—but yeah, they’re A-rank explorers.

872 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

She cut it!

873 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

She fired!

874 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Is it dead!?

◇◇◇

890 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Looks like Megumi immediately went to rescue the victims.
That’s probably why she’s the leader.

891 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Even Chii-chan acknowledges it—said she’s glad Megu-tan is the leader.

892 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

That clipped moment was way too emotional. I’ve watched it like a hundred times.

893 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Huh?

894 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Oh shit.

895 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Isn’t Megumi in serious trouble!?

896 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

It revived!?

897 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

What?

898 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

How!?

◇◇◇

981 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

This is bad.
I seriously saw something messed up.
What the hell was that?

982 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Let me try to organize this.
What appeared due to the Noumi Dungeon’s Dungeon Stampede was a ridiculously huge hydra.
The hydra destroyed the nearest Noumi Dungeon branch office, then started casually wrecking the surrounding area. Anthem rushed to the scene.
Irselia shot it and destroyed one of its three heads, but it regenerated immediately.
Apparently that’s just how hydra-types work—you have to cut off all the heads at the same time.
So the moment they saw Irselia’s shot was effective, Chizuru and Megumi charged in, and almost instantly each severed a head.
Irselia followed up and blew away the regenerating heads, and everyone thought it was over.
But—
From inside the hydra’s corpse, a new hydra emerged.
This time, it had five heads.
When the five-headed hydra was born, it burst through the old body, spilling out a massive amount of blood-like fluid.
Megumi, who was nearby searching for survivors, got swept away by the flood.
And this is where it gets insane.
It was already insane, but still.
Because Irselia—who was acting as the sniper—had a body cam on, you could see something glowing get launched from far off in the distance.
At the time, watching the footage live, it made absolutely no sense.
It’s only now, looking back, that it even starts to register.
Bottom line:
After casually suppressing the Sugai Dungeon’s Dungeon Stampede, Tooru-bro and Tia rushed in at ridiculous speed—and Tia straight-up hurled Tooru-bro through the air.
Midair, Tooru-bro rode the Holy Sword like a surfboard and swung that infamous Cursed Sword once.
They were pretty close, sure—but not close enough for the blade to reach.
I mean, he should’ve been flying full speed, yet there was some weird deceleration too. None of it made sense.
But anyway—
Even though the distance should’ve been impossible, when Tooru-bro, riding the Holy Sword, swung the Cursed Sword in midair—
All five of the hydra’s heads were sliced off at once.
Zash. Bshhh.
The hydra died. Get wrecked. (lol)

983 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

There’s no way to “organize” that.
None of this makes any damn sense.

984 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

To begin with, why did the hydra even revive?
Wasn’t cutting off all the heads at the same time supposed to be the solution?
And yet when Tooru-bro cut them off, it straight-up vanished.

985 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

When they thought the three-headed one was dead and the five-headed one popped out, Irselia completely lost it.
She was about to immediately snipe it with that magic bow, but Tooru-bro came flying in from the side even faster.
Well—was flung by the holy sword user even faster

986 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Tia-chan is busted too.
She hauled Tooru-bro—who probably isn’t even that fast on foot—from the Sugai Dungeon at high speed, and still made it to the Noumi Dungeon while the fight had barely started.
Even if the monster that appeared in the Kamioka Dungeon’s Dungeon Stampede was a single large target, there’s no way this works unless they insta-killed it before leaving.
Considering the travel speed alone, isn’t she honestly faster than even top-tier S-rank explorers?

987 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

This really makes zero sense.
And thinking back on it now—those politicians like Sasamori Takeshi and the rest of them, I mean, no offense, but how did they manage to puff their chests out and act all high and mighty in front of monsters like that?
That former A-rank staffer was pissed, sure, but in hindsight that means he was being extremely careful and holding back.

988 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

I mean, at A-rank, blowing away part of a government building would be easy.

989 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Also, you don’t usually see fights that flashy inside dungeons, right?
You don’t get monsters that huge very often either.

990 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

You already answered your own question.
They’re that big, so you can just focus on raw firepower and blast them—you’ll hit.
Inside a dungeon, with humanoid bosses, there’s actual offense and defense going on, so they don’t go all-out like that unless they’re finishing it.

991 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Watch the stream! They found Megu-tan!
She’s covered in blood, but she’s not injured!

992 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Yeah… she got absolutely drenched when the hydra got reborn.

993 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

The monster itself disappears when it’s defeated, but all the blood and organs it sprayed everywhere don’t—what’s up with that?
What kind of logic is that?

994 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Hell if I know.
Humanity barely understands half of how dungeons even work.
And yet explorers clear them, suppress Dungeon Stampedes, and bring dungeon materials back to the surface.
I’ve got nothing but gratitude for them.
Anthem’s a national project and yeah, some people complain—but still.
Those girls are seriously young, and they’re out there taking down monsters like that.
Megumi immediately started searching for victims too, didn’t she?
That’s impressive, plain and simple.

995 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

What “stampede,” lol.
In the end, it was nothing, lol.

996 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Oh, what, you’re that sneering jackass from last time?
Guess we “overly cautious idiots” were right after all.
Showing up at the end of the thread just to drop a parting shot—nice work.
Already reported you, by the way. If it’s the same IP, the admins’ll warn you.

997 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

“Parting shot,” lol.
You guys fall for fake trick videos way too easily, lol.

998 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Don’t bother engaging with idiots.
Watch the stream—looks like Ii-chan is picking a fight with Tooru-bro.

999 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Seriously?
They didn’t seem to get along great during the exploration either.
And Tooru-bro didn’t exactly hold back with Irselia.
Guess something about each other rubs them the wrong way.
Anyway—do we even need a next thread?

1000 Anonymous Trapped in the Dungeon

Nah, probably not.
Let’s head back to the original one.
